This series of videos has been compiled to help you install and configure Linux Development Environment (LDE) on a Google Chromebook. LDE is a virtual machine that you install into a Chromebook, to allow you to run  Linux programs as if they are native ChromeOS.

This makes LDE a very easy way to turn a Chromebook into a more fully featured computer. However, as applications have to installed from the command line. In this series we will also demonstrate how we installed a number of the most popular Linux  applications onto our Chromebook.
