In this video we use Storage Manager to expand the storage capacity of our Synology NAS, from 2Tb to 5Tb. To do this we use two 2.5Tb hard drives to create a 3Tb volume using RAID 0. By creating a 3Tb volume, we plan to increase our storage capacity, to accommodate the installation and configuration of the media packages: Audio Station, Video Station and Photo Station.
We also demonstrate how Storage Manager monitors the condition of the Hard Drives in our NAS, and how to diagnose the issues it might detect.
