In this video we look at how you can connect a PlayStation 4 Dual Shock controller to either an Apple TV. We then demonstrate how to remove the Bluetooth connection between your Apple TV and the Dual Shock controller. Finally, we show you how to reconnect the Dual Shock controller back to a Play Station 4.
Please note, that you will need to be running iOS 13 or above. Also a Dualshock 4 controller will only work with iOS games that have been specifically designed to work with external controllers.
Quick reference notes:
- Press and hold down both the PS and Share buttons on your Dualshock controller
- When the light bar on the front of the controller rapidly flashes the controller will be in Discovery mode
- From your Apple TV choose Settings – Remotes and Devices – Bluetooth
- Select your Dualshock controller from the list that will appear under Other Devices.
