How to access Startup Manager on an Apple Macintosh computer


In this video we look at how you can boot your Apple Macintosh computer into Startup Manager. Startup Manager, is the method a Macintosh computers uses to allows you to choose your boot options at startup.

As Startup Manager allows you to boot from a drive other then the system drive, it is very useful if you need to:

  • load a Linux distro,
  • boot to Windows with a Boot Camp partition,
  • boot Windows from a USB drive
  • reinstall macOS using a USB thumb drive.
